Heavenly Cherry Pistachio Cheesecake Bars Recipe

 

 

Ingredients:

 

For the Crust:

– 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

 

For the Filling:

– 16 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1 cup granulated sugar

– 1 tsp vanilla extract

– 3 large eggs

– 1 cup sour cream

– 1/2 cup chopped pistachios

– 1 1/2 cups cherry pie filling

 

Directions:

 

Prepare the Crust:

1. Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).

2. Mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter.

3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a lined 9×13-inch baking pan.

4. Chill the crust while preparing the filling.

 

Make the Filling:

1. Beat cream cheese with sugar until smooth.

2. Incorporate vanilla extract.

3. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in sour cream.

 

Assemble:

1. Spread the filling over the crust.

2. Dollop cherry pie filling on top and swirl gently with a knife.

3. Sprinkle chopped pistachios on top.

 

Bake:

1. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until set.

2. Cool to room temperature and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
