Chicken Tikka Pizza (Pakistani Fusion)
A bold desi twist on classic Italian pizza — smoky Chicken tikka layered over cheesy Pizza with spicy toppings.
🛒 Ingredients
For Chicken Tikka:
300g boneless chicken (cubes)
½ cup thick yogurt
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp red chili powder
½ tsp turmeric
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
For Pizza:
1 large pizza base (store-bought or homemade)
½ cup pizza sauce
1½ cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
½ capsicum (sliced)
½ red onion (sliced)
1 small tomato (optional)
½ tsp chaat masala
Fresh coriander (optional)
Green chilies (optional, for heat)
👩🍳 Method
1️⃣ Prepare Chicken Tikka
Mix yogurt, spices, lemon juice, oil, and salt.
Marinate chicken for at least 1 hour (overnight for best flavor).
Grill, pan-fry, or bake at 200°C (400°F) for 15–20 minutes until cooked and slightly charred.
2️⃣ Assemble Pizza
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
Spread pizza sauce evenly over the base.
Add half the mozzarella.
Spread chicken tikka pieces evenly.
Add onions, capsicum, and tomatoes.
Top with remaining cheese.
3️⃣ Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes until cheese melts and crust is golden.
4️⃣ Finish (Desi Touch!)
Sprinkle chaat masala.
Add fresh coriander and sliced green chilies.
Optional: drizzle garlic mayo or mint chutney.
