Lobster Tail With Lemon, Garlic And Aleppo Pepper

Ingredients:
4 lobster tails
3 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Aleppo pepper
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Zest of 1 lemon
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). This ensures that your lobster tails will cook evenly and achieve a lovely finish.
2. Prepare the lobster tails by placing them on a cutting board, shell side down. Using kitchen shears, carefully cut down the center of the hard shell from the top to the tail, creating a deep slit without cutting all the way through. This allows the flavors to penetrate and makes for an attractive presentation.
3. In a small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of olive oil, minced garlic, Aleppo pepper, and fresh lemon juice. This aromatic mixture will infuse the lobster tails with zesty flavor.
4. Season the lobster meat generously with salt and pepper. Then, spoon the garlic and lemon mixture over the exposed lobster meat, ensuring it’s evenly coated to absorb all the delicious flavors during cooking.
5. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. For an added touch, you can sprinkle the lemon zest on top for a vibrant flavor boost.
6. Roast the lobster tails in your preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the meat is opaque and firm. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
7. Once cooked, remove the lobster tails from the oven and allow them to rest for a couple of minutes. This resting period lets the juices redistribute, ensuring a moist and flavorful dish.
8. Serve the lobster tails warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color, and an extra wedge of lemon on the side for drizzling.
Enjoy this delightful seafood dish that’s packed with beautiful flavors and will impress any guest!
