🛒 Ingredients
For the Chicken:
Chicken Breast or Thighs: 500g, cut into cubes.
Egg: 1 large.
Cornstarch: ½ cup (the secret to extra crunch).
Flour: 2 tablespoons.
Salt & Black Pepper: To taste.
Oil: For frying.
For the Sauce (The Secret Flavor):
Fresh Orange Juice: 1 cup.
Orange Zest: 1 teaspoon.
Soy Sauce: 2 tablespoons.
Vinegar (White or Apple Cider): 1 tablespoon.
Brown Sugar or Honey: 2 tablespoons.
Minced Garlic & Ginger: 1 teaspoon of each.
Cornstarch Slurry: 1 tablespoon of cornstarch dissolved in a little water to thicken the sauce.

Coat the Chicken: Mix the chicken cubes with the egg, salt, and pepper. Dip them into the cornstarch and flour mixture until well-coated.
Fry: Fry the chicken in hot, deep oil until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Prepare the Sauce: In a large pan, add a little oil and sauté the garlic and ginger. Add the orange juice, zest, soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar.
Thicken: Let the mixture simmer, then stir in the cornstarch slurry. Continue stirring until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
Combine: Toss the fried chicken into the sauce and stir quickly until every piece is beautifully glazed.
