Taco Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients:

– 9 lasagna noodles (cooked)

– 500 g ground beef or chicken

– 1 packet taco seasoning

– ½ cup water

– 1 cup salsa

– 1 cup sour cream

– 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)

– 1 can black olives, sliced (optional)

– 1 cup corn (optional)

– 1 cup chopped tomatoes or green onions (garnish)

 

### Instructions:

 

1. **Preheat the Oven**: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

 

2. **Cook the Meat**:

– In a large skillet, cook the ground beef or chicken over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.

– Stir in taco seasoning and water. Cook for a few minutes until well combined and heated through.

 

3. **Prepare the Layers**:

– In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of salsa on the bottom.

– Place three lasagna noodles over the salsa.

– Spread half of the meat mixture over the noodles, followed by half of the sour cream and one-third of the cheese.

– Repeat the layers (noodles, meat, sour cream, cheese).

– Top with the remaining three noodles, salsa, and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.

 

4. **Add Optional Ingredients**:

– If desired, add sliced olives and corn on top of the cheese for extra flavor and texture.

 

5. **Bake**:

– Cover with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.

 

6. **Serve**:

– Remove from the oven and let it sit for about 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped tomatoes or green onions.

– Serve hot with additional sour cream and salsa on the side.
