Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

Hot Fudge Pudding Cake
Ingredient
1. The Cake Batter:
1 cup All-purpose flour.
¾ cup Granulated sugar.
2 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder.
2 tsp Baking powder.
½ tsp Salt.
½ cup Milk.
2 tbsp Melted butter.
1 tsp Vanilla extract.
2. The Topping (The “Magic” Sauce):
¾ cup Brown sugar.
¼ cup Unsweetened cocoa powder.
1 ¼ cups Very hot water (boiled).
Instructions
Mix the Base: In a bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, 2 tbsp cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
Spread: Pour the batter into a greased baking dish (medium size).
The Layering: In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and ¼ cup cocoa. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the top of the batter.
The Secret Step: Carefully pour the hot water over the top. Do not stir! The water will seep through and create a thick fudge sauce at the bottom as it bakes.
Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for 35-40 minutes. The top should be firm, while the sauce bubbles underneath.
Serving: Serve warm. It is essential to top it with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream so it melts into the hot chocolate fudge.
Pro Tip: If you like a bit of crunch, you can sprinkle some chopped walnuts or pecans over the batter before adding the hot water
