Creamy Chicken with Bacon, Mushrooms, and Spinach

 

 

This creamy chicken dish with bacon, mushrooms, and spinach is a perfect comfort meal that combines savory flavors and rich textures. The creamy sauce, tender chicken, and crispy bacon make this dish an irresistible choice for dinner.

 

Ingredients:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil

6 slices bacon, chopped

8 oz mushrooms, sliced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 cups fresh spinach

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Preparation:

Cook the Chicken:

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Cook the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Crisp the Bacon:

In the same skillet, add chopped bacon and cook until crispy.

Remove the bacon and drain on paper towels.

Cook the Mushrooms:

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.

Make the Creamy Sauce:

Reduce the heat to low, and add heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet.

Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.

Add Spinach and Seasoning:

Stir in fresh spinach and cook until wilted.

Add garlic powder and onion powder, mixing well.

Finish the Dish:

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over the top.

Sprinkle with crispy bacon and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
