Gougères

Light and airy French cheese puffs with a crispy golden crust and a soft, cheesy center. A delicious savory bite! ❤️✨

 

Ingredients:

1 cup water

1/2 cup butter

1 cup all-purpose flour

4 eggs

1 cup grated Gruyère cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

 

Instructions:

 

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil. Remove from heat and add flour, stirring until a smooth dough forms.

Return to heat and cook for 2 minutes, stirring continuously.

Remove from heat, let cool slightly, then mix in eggs one at a time.

Stir in grated cheese, salt, and pepper.

Drop spoonfuls onto the baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Serve warm and enjoy this cheesy French delicacy! ❤️
