Cinnamon Donut Bread

Ingredients:

For the Bread:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 large egg

1/2 cup milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Topping:

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Directions:
Prep the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

Make the Batter: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat the sugar and butter until fluffy. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla extract, and mix until combined. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan.

Add the Topping: Brush the warm loaf with melted butter. In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it generously over the bread.
