Best Ever Fried Cheese Balls with Stretchy Mozzarella
Ingredients:
For Cheese Balls:
8 ounces mozzarella, cubed
½ cup flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup panko
¼ cup Parmesan, grated
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
Vegetable oil for frying
For Serving:
Marinara sauce
Directions:
Freeze mozzarella cubes 30 minutes until firm.
Set up bowls: flour, beaten eggs, panko mixed with Parmesan, parsley, garlic powder, salt, pepper.
Dip frozen cheese in flour, then egg, then panko mixture, pressing to adhere. Freeze 30 minutes.
Heat oil to 350°F. Fry in batches 1-2 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Pull one apart to reveal stretchy cheese pull. Serve warm with marinara sauce.
