Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients:
Beef: 500g (thinly sliced)
Onion: 1 large (finely chopped)
Mushrooms: 250g (sliced)
Garlic: 2 cloves (minced)
Beef Broth: 1 cup
Sour Cream: 1 cup
Soy Sauce: 2 tablespoons
Olive Oil or Butter: 2 tablespoons
Salt and Pepper: To taste
Pasta: 500g (egg noodles are recommended)
Instructions:
Sear the Beef:
In a large skillet, heat the oil or butter over medium-high heat.
Add the beef slices and cook until browned on both sides. Remove the beef from the pan and set it aside.
Sauté the Vegetables:
In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic. Cook until the onion becomes translucent.
Add the mushrooms and cook for 5–7 minutes until softened.
Prepare the Sauce:
Return the beef to the skillet. Stir in the beef broth and soy sauce, then let it simmer over low heat for about 5 minutes.
Stir in the sour cream and mix well. Cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until the flavors are well combined.
Cook the Pasta:
In a separate pot, boil salted water and cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain well.
Serving:
Add the cooked pasta to the beef sauce and toss together until evenly coated.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
