Banana Pudding’

Ingredients

Cookies: 1 bag (12 oz) Chessmen butter cookies (or any high-quality butter cookies).

Bananas: 6 to 8 bananas, sliced.

Milk: 2 cups milk.

Pudding: 1 box (5 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix.

Cream Cheese: 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened.

Condensed Milk: 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk.

Whipped Topping: 1 container (12 oz) frozen whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed.

Preparation Steps

The Base: Line the bottom of a 13x9x2-inch dish with a layer of the cookies.

The Fruit: Spread the sliced bananas on top of the cookies.

The Pudding: In a medium bowl, combine the milk and the pudding mix and blend well using a handheld wire whisk. Set aside.

The Creamy Mix: In another large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk together until smooth.

The Blend: Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Then, add the prepared pudding mixture to the cream cheese mixture and stir until well blended.

Assembly: Pour the mixture over the bananas and cookies.

The Topping: Cover the top with the remaining cookies.
