### Ingredients:

– 3 cups all-purpose flour

– 3 cups sugar

– 1 lb butter, softened

– 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

– 6 large eggs

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

### Instructions:

 

1. **Preheat the Oven**: Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).

 

2. **Prepare Baking Pan**: Grease and flour a 10-inch round cake pan (or use parchment paper).

 

3. **Mix Butter and Cream Cheese**: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.

 

4. **Add Sugar**: Gradually add sugar to the butter and cream cheese mixture, beating well until fully combined.

 

5. **Incorporate Eggs**: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
