For the Donuts:
4 chocolate-glazed donuts
For the Cheesecake Filling:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup crushed Reese’s cups
For the Peanut Butter Layer:
½ cup creamy or chunky peanut butter
For the Drizzle:
¼ cup peanut butter
2 tablespoons milk
Instructions
Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:
In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the crushed Reese’s cups for a delightful crunch. Cover the mixture and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
Split the Donuts:
Using a serrated knife, carefully slice each chocolate-glazed donut in half horizontally. Be gentle to keep the donuts intact.
Assemble the Sandwiches:
Spread a thin, even layer of peanut butter on the bottom half of each donut. Pipe or spoon the chilled cheesecake filling generously over the peanut butter layer, ensuring it’s evenly distributed but not overflowing.
Complete the Sandwiches:
Place the top half of each donut back onto the filling, pressing gently to secure the layers. Repeat with the remaining donuts.
