Cheesy Sloppy Cheeseburger Pasta

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons mustard
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
8 oz elbow macaroni (or your preferred pasta)
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup pickles, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Break it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Once browned, drain any excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the onion softens.
Stir in the ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
While the beef mixture is simmering, melt the butter in a separate pan over medium heat. Add the milk and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts and becomes creamy.
Add the cooked pasta to the beef mixture in the skillet, stirring to combine.
Pour the cheesy sauce over the pasta and beef, stirring until the pasta is well-coated and the cheese is melted through.
Garnish with chopped pickles, if desired, and serve warm.
Enjoy your delicious and creamy Cheesy Sloppy Cheeseburger Pasta!
