1 tsp garlic powder (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh basil leaves (optional, for added flavor)

Instructions:

Prepare the Ingredients:

Slice the avocado, tomato, and mozzarella.

If you like, you can also slice a few fresh basil leaves for extra flavor.

Butter the Bread:

Spread butter (or drizzle olive oil) on one side of each slice of bread. This will be the outside of the sandwich that hits the pan.

Assemble the Sandwich:

On the non-buttered side of one slice of bread, layer the avocado, mozzarella, and tomato slices.

Sprinkle a little salt, pepper, and garlic powder on the tomato to enhance the flavor.

If using, add fresh basil leaves on top of the tomato.

Grill the Sandwich:

Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Once hot, place the sandwich in the skillet with the buttered side down. Grill for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
