Corn Ribs

Corn Ribs
Ingredients (Metric)
4 Fresh ears of corn.
60g Melted butter.
15g Olive oil.
5g Smoked paprika.
3g Garlic powder.
2g Black pepper.
Salt (to taste).
Garnish: Finely chopped parsley or cilantro, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese (optional).
Dipping Sauce: A simple mix of mayonnaise and Sriracha (or lemon juice).
Preparation Instructions
Slicing the Corn (Crucial Step): Carefully cut each ear of corn lengthwise into quarters. To do this safely, stand the corn upright on a flat surface and use a sharp chef’s knife to press down through the center. This creates the “rib” shape that will curl during cooking.
The Seasoning: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Coating: Using a pastry brush, generously coat all sides of the corn segments with the seasoned butter mixture.
Cooking:
Air Fryer: Cook at 200°C for 12–15 minutes until the corn is curled, tender, and slightly charred.
Oven: Bake on a parchment-lined tray at 220°C for 20–25 minutes.
Finishing Touch: While hot, garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with favorite dipping sauce.
