Stuffed Breakfast Cheese Bread 🧀
Ingredients
All-Purpose Flour: 500g.
Warm Water: 300ml.
Salt: 1 teaspoon.
Sugar: 1 tablespoon.
Butter: 50g (Melted, for layering).
Cheese Filling: 200g Shredded Mozzarella or Cheddar.
Optional: A pinch of dried parsley or oregano for extra flavor.
Instructions
Prepare the Dough: In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and sugar. Gradually add the warm water and knead until you have a smooth, elastic dough. Cover and let it rest for 20 minutes.
Divide and Roll: Divide the dough into equal-sized balls. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each ball until it is very thin and almost transparent.
Layer and Fill: Brush the surface of the dough with melted butter. Place a generous amount of shredded cheese in the center.
Fold: Fold the sides of the dough over the cheese to create a square or circular shape, ensuring the edges are sealed tightly so the cheese doesn’t leak out.
Cook: Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the bread in the pan and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until it turns golden brown and crispy, and the cheese inside has completely melted
