Ingredients
Apples: 3 medium, peeled and diced into small cubes.
Eggs: 3 large.
Milk: 1 glass (approx. 200ml).
Sugar: 1 cup.
Oil or Melted Butter: Β½ cup.
All-purpose Flour: 2 Β½ cups (approx. 320g for best results).
Baking Powder: 1 tbsp.
Vanilla Extract: 1 tsp.
Salt: A pinch.
Optional Topping: Powdered sugar for dusting.
Preparation Steps
Prep the Base: In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
Add Liquids: Pour in the milk and oil (or butter), whisking continuously to combine.
Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Gradually sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold gently until you have a smooth batter.
The Apple Layer: Stir the diced apples into the batter, or arrange them in a lined baking tray and pour the batter over them.
Baking: Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for 35β40 minutes until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
Serving: Let it cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar. Serve it warm or at room temperatureβit truly melts in the mouth!

To keep the cake extra light, try using a kitchen scale to measure the flour in grams (315g-320g) rather than cups.
