Twisted Stuffed Puff Pastry Bread

𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 1000 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘆 (𝘆𝘂𝗺𝗺𝘆😋) 𝘀𝗼 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗱𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁 I Twisted Stuffed Puff Pastry Bread

Ingredients:

1 sheet puff pastry (or pizza dough, thawed if frozen)

100 g mozzarella cheese (grated or sliced)

80 g cheddar cheese (grated)

100 g cooked chicken, ham, or pepperoni (sliced/shredded)

1 small tomato (finely chopped)

½ small onion (finely chopped)

½ green bell pepper or capsicum (finely chopped)

1 tbsp fresh parsley or coriander (chopped)

Salt & black pepper (to taste)

1 tsp oregano or Italian seasoning

1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

1 tbsp sesame seeds or coarse salt (optional, for topping)

Instructions:

Prepare the Filling

In a bowl, mix together chopped tomato, onion, capsicum, cooked chicken/ham/pepperoni, parsley, salt, pepper, and oregano.

Add mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Mix well.

Prepare the Dough

Roll out the puff pastry/pizza dough into a rectangle.

Cut into strips about 2–3 inches wide.

Stuff and Twist

Place some filling lengthwise on each strip.

Fold gently and twist each strip to lock in the filling (as shown in the top image).

Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

Egg Wash & Topping

Brush the top with beaten egg for a shiny golden crust.

Sprinkle sesame seeds or a pinch of coarse salt on top.

Bake

Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).

Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Serve

Let cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve warm with ketchup, garlic dip, or chili sauce..
